Katharine Heyl is a mixed media artist whose work explores the profound interplay between color, material, and emotion. Her work begins with a periphery of hand-hammered nails, through which she weaves an intricate layer of thread. Katharine Heyl received her BFA in Studio Art from Wheaton College and is represented in collections nationwide. She works from her light-filled studio in Washington, DC.
